Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what Image to Layers collects, who processes your images and account data, how long we keep them, and how to have them deleted.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information Image to Layers collects when you use the service, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The Upload Box on Our Pages

The free single-layer PSD save on our home page, tool page and format pages reads your image in your browser. That file is never uploaded to us.

Information We Collect

  1. Account information — your name, email address and profile picture. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive these from that provider and store the sign-in tokens it issues.
  2. Images and layers — images you attach in Layer Agent, and the layer files made from them.
  3. Chat content — the messages you send in Layer Agent and the replies.
  4. Support tickets — the text you write in a support ticket and any images you attach to it, which are kept in our file storage.
  5. Usage and billing records — the splits you run, credits granted and spent, orders and subscriptions.
  6. Technical data — the IP address and browser information recorded with each sign-in session; a short-lived counter keyed by your IP address when you sign in, sign up, change your email or password, reset a password or ask for a verification email (to limit abuse; old counters are cleared as new requests come in); and cookies that keep you signed in and remember your language. When we turn on analytics or live chat, this also includes the cookies those services use, such as analytics cookies.
  7. Payment information — handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status, amount and the email address you paid with, never your full card number.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the service: store your images, run layer splits, keep your chats and account.
  • To process payments, grant credits and manage subscriptions.
  • To answer your questions and support requests.
  • To send account emails, such as email verification and password reset.
  • When analytics is turned on, to see how our pages are used.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure.

We do not use your images or layers to train models.

Who Processes Your Data

We do not sell your personal information. These providers process data on our behalf to run the service:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, our database, and file storage (R2) for the images you attach, the layer files and images attached to support tickets.
  • fal.ai — runs the layer-splitting model on the images you attach in Layer Agent and hosts the resulting layer files.
  • OpenRouter, and the inference providers it selects to run the DeepSeek model — process Layer Agent chat messages, including the links to the images in the conversation. OpenRouter picks among several third-party providers for that model; they may not include DeepSeek itself and can differ from one request to the next. If we configure OpenAI or Anthropic as a fallback, chat messages may be processed by them instead.
  • Stripe — payments, when you buy a plan or a credit pack.

These take part only when we turn them on in our settings, and only for the purpose shown:

  • Google — "Sign in with Google". With Google One Tap on, our pages also show Google's sign-in prompt to visitors who are not signed in; your browser loads it from Google even if you don't use it.
  • GitHub — "Sign in with GitHub".
  • Resend or Cloudflare Email — sending account emails, such as email verification and password reset.
  • Google Analytics or Plausible — website analytics: their script records the pages you visit and details such as your browser and device.
  • Crisp or Tawk — the live-chat widget; what you type into it goes to that provider.

We share data beyond these providers only when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or ourselves.

Access to Your Files

Images you attach and the layer files made from them are stored under long, unguessable links, and the service shows them only in your own account; images attached to a support ticket are also shown to our support staff. Anyone who has one of those links can open that file, so share them with care. They are never listed in a public gallery.

Retention and Deletion

We keep your account data, chats, support tickets, images and layer files while your account exists; we do not yet delete them automatically after a set period. Deleting a chat removes it from your chat list but does not yet erase its files from storage.

To have your account, chats, support tickets, uploaded images and layer files deleted, email us from your account's email address at s07811005141@gmail.com and we will delete them. Deleted data can remain for a limited time in the automatic point-in-time backups of our database until those expire; we have no separate way to purge them. Layer files hosted by fal.ai are kept under fal.ai's own retention policy. Billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Data Security

All traffic to the service uses HTTPS, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your Rights

You can view and update your name and profile picture in your account settings. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted, email us from your account's email address. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will show the date of the latest change at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell you through the service.
